What is Really Going on Between the Musk and Zuckerberg?

Elon Musk claims that the potential confrontation between Musk and Zuckerberg will be broadcast on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The platform’s proprietor tweeted twice on Sunday morning to say that he was “lifting weights all day, getting ready for the fight,” and that “all proceeds will go to charity for veterans.”

More information on the conflict has not been provided by Musk.

The two Big Tech billionaires reportedly decided to take part in a cage match in June. When Zuckerberg’s Meta unveiled Threads, a new Twitter rival, this month, the stakes for the possible conflict increased.

On Sunday afternoon, Zuckerberg responded to Musk on Threads with the question, “Shouldn’t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?”

He said, “Today I’m ready. When (Musk) first challenged me, I offered August 26, but he hasn’t confirmed it. I won’t hold my breath.

Many users have experienced policy reversals, technical difficulties, and the platform’s stance on harassment and hate speech since Musk acquired Twitter in October 2022. When Threads was introduced, many thought it would be a strong competitor to its rival and the program experienced tremendous initial success. Even a lawsuit over Threads was threatened by a lawyer for Twitter.

Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, “isn’t serious,” according to Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, who claims he has moved past an alleged cage match with Musk.

Musk and zuckerberg

When Musk tweeted that he was “up for a cage fight,” the competing billionaire tech executives reportedly agreed to a fight. Facebook and Instagram CEO Mark Zuckerberg responded to Musk’s post with “send me location” in a screenshot.

On the social networking site Threads, Zuckerberg said on Sunday, “I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. I proposed a genuine date. Dana White, the owner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, volunteered to turn this into a legitimate fundraiser.

Zuckerberg competed in his first jiujitsu event earlier this year. He has mixed martial arts training.

Musk revealed last week that he was weightlifting to prepare for the fight. I just bring them to work because I don’t have time to work out, he wrote.

Elon refuses to set a date and then claims to need surgery before requesting to play a practice game on Zuckerberg’s lawn in its place.

“Elon knows how to get in touch with me if he ever wants to go on a real date and attend an official event. Otherwise, it’s time to go. I’ll concentrate on competing against athletes who take the sport seriously.

Musk, who owns the social media site X (formerly known as Twitter), seemed to imply that the fight will take place in an “epic location” in Italy.

Gennaro Sangiuliano, the culture minister for Italy, stated in a statement that he spoke with Musk about holding a “significant charitable and historically significant event.”

He just stated that the event would not be conducted in Rome without providing any further details regarding its nature or potential timing.

His readiness to let the social media and internet titans compete in Italy was criticized by opposition lawmakers.

However, it is left to be seen what would become of Musk and Zuckerberg. We will keep following this story to see what would become of these two moguls.
