The Hustler Team – These techies are taking entrepreneurship to grassroot level

The Hustler Team is a not-for-profit organization located in the Delhi- NCR. The organization is working towards disseminating entrepreneurship education among school and college students. The team wants to help students of Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in setting up their businesses by bringing them into the mainstream start-up ecosystem. The Hustler Team aims to connect with the key players of the start-up ecosystem through various mediums such as workshops, meet-ups, summits, etc.

Amit Vikram Tripathi, from Balrampur, a tier-3 city of Uttar Pradesh, when came to Greater Noida for his studies felt that the culture of metro cities is very different, where a lot of resources are available which need to be brought to the students of other cities so that they can begin innovating and solving the grassroots problems of the society at large. He decided to teach and make students aware of entrepreneurship and discussed this idea with two of his classmates- Akash Kumar who looks after the management in the organization, and Gautam Mishra who heads technology in the organization.

In 2018, the trio came up with its organization Hustler Team- with a mission to help the youth grow and run their businesses for the betterment of the nation along with a vision to become a renowned startup community in the world. They contacted various successful people from the startup ecosystem and with their help, they started organizing summits where they would call eminent business personalities and startup enthusiasts to connect, interact and network with each other. Amit along with his team started visiting different colleges and schools where they teach students critical problem-solving skills as well as business skills.

In the words of Amit, “Indian Education System needs reform and Entrepreneurial education can be a stepping stone towards it”. It is well known that the governments of different states have started pushing the entrepreneurship curriculum in the syllabus of the schools. Thus, the efforts of The Hustler Team can take this initiative of the government a step further by inculcating problem-solving skills amongst the students and bringing out entrepreneurship as another career option in front of students.

THT has opened its resources for everyone’s growth in business. They are here to help you in all possible ways, thereby growing your business and strengthening the Indian economy.

‘The Hustler Team’ might sound an interesting name but there is a story behind the name. All the members in this organization used to call themselves hustlers while working with various startups as interns. This term got stuck in the mind of Tripathi and he could never come up with any second name for his venture, the decision was spontaneous.
