Nokia said on Wednesday it sued Apple for allegedly violating 32 of its technology patents. The company said it filed several complaints against Apple in Germany and the United States. Nokia Sues Apple said since agreeing to a license covering some patents in 2011, Apple has declined subsequent offers to license its technology, which it said is used in many of Apple’s products.
Nokia’s lawsuits, filed in courts in Dusseldorf, Mannheim and Munich, Germany and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, cover patents for displays, user interfaces, software, antennas, chipsets and video coding.

Market fluctuations impacted Nokia negatively, leading to a decrease in its share price, in the assessment of Apple’s stock which maintained a consistent performance throughout the trading session.
