Harry And Meghan Have “Asked To Quit” Frogmore Cottage

The couple’s spokeswoman stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been asked to leave their home in Britain, Frogmore Cottage.

It was previously stated that the Duke of York had been offered the house on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The news was confirmed by a representative for Prince Harry and Meghan. The Royal Palace has not responded.

Archie and Lilibet, the duke and duchess’s two children, now reside with them in California.

In 2020, they resigned from their roles as working royals and soon after left the Country.

The late Queen gave the royal couple Frogmore Cottage, a Grade-II listed 10-bedroom home in the grounds of Windsor Castle in Berkshire.

The Crown Estate’s property had renovations from Prince Harry and Meghan in 2018–19 at an estimated cost of £2.4 million. Prior to the duke’s full repayment, the expense was initially funded by tax payers through the Sovereign Grant.

Days after Harry released his incendiary book, Spare, Buckingham Palace reportedly ordered them to leave the premises in January.

Prior to Prince Harry and Meghan moving in, it is said that the cottage served as a residence for members of the royal household personnel since World War Two.
