The Indian Banks will remain closed for ten days in February 2023 including second and fourth Saturdays, and Sundays. The central bank i.e. RBI has placed the holidays under three brackets- Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act; Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holidays; and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.

The banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. In January Bank was closed for 14 days, including Saturdays and Sundays. But, some of these bank holidays are specific to the state.
